Located at the cliff over seeing the city sky line of Kuala Lumpur. This Villa is designed to create the unobstructed horizon view and blend within the virgin forest of bukit antarabangsa.

The site, bukit antarabangsa is well known for its extreme topography.  Initially client brief was to create a masterplan development on this 11 acres land. After learning that the topography is too extreme to develop any massive development. Since no large development could be done there, an idea resort in the city center came into discussion. Client wanted to build a stand alone building for own stay and later convert into a club house for multiple villa commercial resort.

The existing land level different is almost 100m and that actually us to hide the whole building along the cliff so that it creates an unobstructed horizontal view towards the KL city line. As  an entrance statement, we designed a bridge that connect to the roof water pond and the main entrance to the house is actually hidden under the roof water pond. This approach allow us to minimize the impact to the topography as it set away. This approach allow us to limit earth and trees cutting, managing the existing virgin forest.
